Failure To Launch - Stupid name for a movie, and in a lot of ways this flick is pretty dumb, entertaining, but dumb. In this romantic comedy Matthew McConaughey plays an offshoot of the character he played in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days while Sarah Jessica Parker plays an offshoot of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. It tweaks some of the genre's plotlines but never enough to satisfy you with originality or alienate you. Yes, there are some funny set pieces and all the actors, both the leads and their co-stars are likeable. So it ends up being a brainless good time.
